One of a kind local artist, Shelton Labront, is here with another piece that describes our lives and culture so profoundly. Mother Africa is a piece that is rampant with colors and patterns that all coincide with eachother. Displaying a beautiful story, potent with motive. Each side and section differentiates from one another, but they mash together fluently. The colors behind the arrow allows for it to stand out more, the cheetah print relates us to the surrounding theme while the butterflies connects us to the nature. Every stroke, design, and stylistic choice is bringing us back to Africa with the woman in the middle reminding us of the power that mother africa holds.
